My main focus in research revolves around addressing the fundamental key questions on the star and planet formation, with a particular emphasis on core collapse, role of magnetic fields in the very earliest stages of star formation and evolution of their protoplanetary disks through the utilization of cutting-edge magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) simulations, semi-analytical modelling. In addition, I study the accretion mechanisms of forming stars, for example, episodic accretion outbursts, and the evolution of dust dynamics within the magnetized gas-dust protoplanetary disks to explore the prospects of first-generation planetesimal formation, which are the building blocks of planets. Furthermore, I also study the gravitational magnetized fragmentation of molecular cloud and how they form dense cores, which are birth sites for star formation. The numerical and theoretical modelling allow us to delve deeper into the underlying physics and to better understand the direct observations of star-disk systems in our magnetized universe.
